Jananie joined Thomas Gold Pettingill LLP in 2021 after articling with a multinational insurance company in Toronto, where she gained experience in civil litigation. Jananie’s current practice focuses on statutory accident benefits litigation and general tort defence work.
Jananie obtained her J.D. from Western University in 2019. During law school, Jananie was a volunteer case worker with the Small Claims Court Project, assisting low-income residents with various legal concerns. She was also a staff editor for the Western Journal of Legal Studies, and a founding member of the First Generation Program (Western Law Chapter). Prior to attending law school, Jananie obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science with a double major in Biology and Psychology from the University of Toronto, graduating with distinction.
