Josh is a partner of Thomas Gold Pettingill LLP. Josh has a broad insurance practice including defence of first party claims, personal injury claims, and professional liability claims. Josh also represents clients in property, product liability, and subrogation claims.

Josh has appeared before the Court of Appeal, Superior Court of Justice, Small Claims Court, Financial Services Commission of Ontario, License Appeals Tribunal, and in private arbitrations. Prior to joining Thomas Gold Pettingill, Josh articled with a large national firm.

Before practicing law, Josh served as a legislative assistant to the federal Minister of the Environment, and a Member of Parliament.

Josh holds a Masters in Political Science from Queen’s University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours), with distinction, in Political Science and History from the University of Toronto. He obtained his Canadian law degree from the University of Windsor, and his American law degree from the University of Detroit Mercy, cum laude.
