In this case, Master Sugunasiri determined that the Rules of Civil Procedure require the parties to provide some detail as to the nature of the documents that they will produce prior to discovery. Master Sugunasiri noted that while “the extent of the detail and the nature of the categories of the proposed disclosure will vary widely depending on the circumstances of the case…the parties have the primary responsibility for managing it and defining it”.
