Laura joined Thomas Gold Pettingill in 2025. She was called to the bar in 2020 while working for a leading personal injury firm in Barrie. Laura proceeded to practice plaintiff-side personal injury, insurance defence, and class action litigation for several years at a prominent boutique in downtown Toronto.

During her time in law school, Laura was heavily involved with Probono Students Canada, including working on a pair of year-long projects. She has appeared at all levels of Court in Ontario, as well as the various Tribunals. Laura has been featured in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch each year since 2022.

Laura graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) as well as Wilfrid Laurier University, earning an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Law and Society.
