Laura joined Thomas Gold Pettingill in 2026 after practicing civil and family law litigation with a boutique litigation firm in Kelowna, British Columbia. Laura has appeared as counsel on small claims and residential tenancy matters and supported senior counsel in business torts and human rights litigation.
Laura earned her J.D. from Thompson Rivers University, where she received a course prize for her constitutional analysis regarding freedom of expression in the context of animal advocacy.
Before law school, Laura lived in Medellín, Colombia. This experience inspired her to earn an undergraduate degree specializing in Spanish from Concordia University.
