Shirin joined Thomas Gold Pettingill in 2025 after completing her articles at a full-service firm in Toronto, where she gained experience in commercial litigation.

Shirin received her J.D. degree from Osgoode Hall Law School. During law school, Shirin was actively involved in the Osgoode Women’s Network, the South Asian Law Students’ Association and theCourt.ca. Prior to law school, Shirin obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Guelph.
